While most people normally live for the weekends, I kind of dread them. I do love being off work, spending time with my family and friends, and having time to do extra activities….but there’s a negative side too. You see, I spend 5 days of the week closely watching what I eat (which lately means tracking calories via the MyFitnessPal app), but then the weekend comes and I throw it all away. And it’s not like I just eat a meal or two that’s bad. Lately the weekend becomes like a free-for-all to eat as much as I want, whenever I want. I am usually down a few pounds on the scale by Friday and then this happens, so that when Monday rolls around I’m up an extra pound or so. I’m beginning to feel like I may never right this ship. Such a scary thought. But I will keep plugging away and hoping that one day, it will all click and I can stick to it. Thanks for sticking with me in the meantime.
